At Green Meadows Counseling, we provide individualized therapy for adolescents and adults in both in-person and telehealth sessions. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients can gain clarity, develop practical coping skills, and experience meaningful, lasting change.
ART is a trauma-focused therapy that helps clients process distressing memories quickly and effectively. This approach uses guided visualization and eye movement techniques to reduce emotional intensity and create lasting relief from past experiences. ART is similar to EMDR by using eye movements, however the structure of ART helps move through distressing memories more quickly and with less distress.
ART is particularly effective for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief, relational hurts and other any other emotionally charged events, helping clients move forward with clarity and confidence.

Trauma-focused therapy provides a safe space to process painful experiences, reduce emotional intensity, and reclaim confidence and control. I specialize in trauma, using approaches that support healing from both recent or adult trauma and early-life trauma.
Evidence-based trauma therapies include:
EMDR
ART
DBT
CBT for understanding patterns and managing distress
Sessions are designed to restore resilience, emotional balance, and a renewed sense of self.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a structured, evidence-based form of psychotherapy designed to help individuals manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and build healthier coping skills.
DBT is used for a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-destructive behaviors. It combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices, focusing on four key skill areas: emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness.
DBT emphasizes acceptance and change, helping clients feel validated while also working toward meaningful, positive growth in their daily lives. At Green Meadows Counseling, we take a personalized approach to Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), teaching skills in sessions based on each client’s unique needs and goals. If you are looking for a highly structured style of DBT, a group DBT setting would be best fitting. At this time Green Meadows Counseling does not offer DBT in a group setting.
Anxiety and depression can interfere with daily life, relationships, and overall well-being. Therapy focuses on gaining support, identifying triggers, understanding thought and behavior patterns, and developing practical coping strategies.
Using a client centered supportive approach along with CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based approaches, we work together to reduce distress, improve mood, and increase confidence.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a goal-oriented, evidence-based approach that helps individuals better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected.
By learning to identify and shift unhelpful patterns, clients can develop healthier perspectives, improve coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting changes in their daily lives.
Individual therapy offers a confidential space to work through life’s challenges — from stress and anxiety to depression, Trauma/PTSD, ADHD, and relationship difficulties. Sessions focus on understanding patterns, building coping strategies, and fostering personal growth.
I integrate evidence-based therapies, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) (for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulnesss and interpersonal effectiveness skills)
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Therapy is collaborative, paced to your comfort, and tailored to your unique needs.
Adolescence can bring unique challenges, including academic stress, social pressures, mood changes, and identity development. Therapy provides a safe space for teens to express themselves, learn coping strategies, and build resilience.
I use a blend of evidence-based approaches tailored to each teen’s needs, helping them navigate challenges and grow in self-awareness and confidence. This will often include occational or as needed sessions with parents to help strengthen the parent-teen relationship.
ADHD and other neurodiverse traits can affect focus, organization, emotions, and daily functioning. Therapy focuses on understanding strengths and challenges, creating practical strategies, and improving self-esteem and executive functioning.
Evidence-based methods such as CBT, DBT, and skill-building strategies help clients thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Therapy at Green Meadows Counseling is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your needs. If you’re ready to take the first step toward healing, growth, and lasting change, I invite you to reach out to schedule a session.
